Accessibility statement

Version 0.7 · Effective 3 November 2026 · Next review 26 January 2027

This statement covers the assessment pages at schools.anaxstandard.ai (including the legal pages on this site), the signed-in AI tools register (used by the organisations that have been set up on it) and the Passport verification page at verify.anaxstandard.ai. College of Human and Business Efficiency Ltd is not a public sector body; we publish this statement voluntarily, in the shape of the GOV.UK model statement, because our service is used by schools that have their own duties.

Standard targeted

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA.

What we tested, and how

Assessment and verification pages — automated testing. On 12 October 2026 we ran axe-core 4.10.2 with the WCAG 2.2 AA rule set in a headless Chromium browser at desktop (1440 pixels), tablet (820 pixels) and phone (390 pixels) widths, over the assessment landing page, the assessment form with every section shown, the privacy view and the verification page. Result: 40 of 40 checks passed with no violations reported. The same tool found contrast, heading-order, landmark and labelling defects on 11 October 2026; all of them were fixed and the fixes are what was tested on 12 October.

The register — built-in browser checks. The register's pages are plain server-rendered HTML forms with no script: native labels, fieldsets with legends, visible focus, buttons of at least 36 pixels, and plain-language wording held in one place. Every release is checked in a real browser at desktop (1366 pixels) and phone (390 pixels) widths for horizontal scrolling and reachable controls (219 checks across the register's five browser suites, all passing on 26 October 2026). Since 31 October 2026 the whole first-user journey — joining a school, adding a tool, answering all 62 assessment questions, the decision and the follow-up action — is also walked in a real browser at desktop (1366 pixels) and phone (360 pixels) widths, checking that nothing scrolls sideways and that no technical text appears on screen (42 checks).

The rebuilt public pages — automated testing, 3 November 2026. The landing page was rebuilt, and every page on this site was given the same header and footer. We then ran axe-core 4.10.2 with the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules in headless Chrome over all 14 public pages (the landing and the 13 product, legal and trust pages) at desktop (1366 pixels) and phone (390 pixels) widths, 28 page states in all. No violations were reported. The same run checked every page at 360 pixels as well, and found that nothing scrolls sideways (wide tables scroll inside their own labelled region), that there are no script errors, and that every internal link resolves.

The register — automated testing. On 1 November 2026 we ran axe-core 4.10.2 with the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules in a headless Chromium browser over the register at desktop (1366 pixels) and phone (360 pixels) widths: sign-in (the form, the link-sent message and the failed-link message), a school's register, adding an AI tool, a tool's page with the decision form, adding an action, the People page, the trust overview and an invitation, and the add-tool and decision forms showing their error messages; the assessment landing page, the assessment opened with a code and the privacy page were run again at the same widths. Result: no violations reported on any of the 30 page states. No manual assistive-technology test has been done on the register.

Compliance status

The assessment and verification pages are partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA: automated testing reports no violations, and we do not claim full compliance until manual testing is complete. The register is also partially compliant: automated testing reports no violations, and we make no conformance claim for it until manual testing is complete.

Known limitations

If you cannot access part of the service

Email contact@viccaone.com with "ACCESSIBILITY" in the subject. We reply within 2 working days. On request, and at no charge, we can take a school's answers or register entries by an alternative route (a structured document returned by email) and enter them on the school's behalf under its instruction.

For schools and trusts buying the service

Many schools and academy trusts have their own accessibility duties as public sector bodies. On request we send the evidence behind this statement — the automated test results, the browser checks and the list of known limitations — for procurement and for your own records; email contact@viccaone.com with "ACCESSIBILITY" in the subject. We do not claim certified conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA; we target it and report what has and has not been tested.

Enforcement

If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.

Review

This statement is reviewed at every release that changes a page and at least every three months. Next planned step: a manual keyboard and screen-reader walk-through of the assessment and the register.

Version history: 0.1 (11 October 2026); 0.2 (12 October 2026) after the fixes; 0.3 (12 October 2026) public page; 0.4 (26 October 2026) the register's scope, checks and limitations added. 0.5 (1 November 2026) the whole-journey browser check added; evidence for schools' procurement on request. 0.6 (1 November 2026) axe-core run over the register: no violations reported; the register's status stated as partially compliant on the same basis as the assessment. 0.7 (3 November 2026) the rebuilt landing and the shared site header and footer tested: no violations reported on 28 page states.
